And the talent that was on the roster didn't fit the scheme...


We went from Newsome (no-blocking scheme) to Grimes (zone-blocking scheme) for one year to Searels (man-blocking scheme) for two years. What talent there was on the roster from Grimes' tenure was (a) young and (b) not what Searels was looking for in body type, as I understand it.
