We kept getting players hurt. And our DL is undersized.

There are kids playing who probably shouldn't be on the field yet. And yes, we played much better the last 3 games IMO, until Ricky Walker went out against Cincy.

I don't think Willis started getting a feel on the offense scheme until Marshall. And with Bud's D one guy out of position kills the entire play. That 98 yard run against ND is a great example. If we maintain gap integrity there, that cut back is tackled short of the first down and they are punting from the 5. Instead one guy over pursued and the runner cut back and housed us.

People will look at a Trevor Lawrence or Tua and think all young kids play like that! When some kids are undersized, and some don't catch on as fast, and some just have trouble with the school part! Even Dax isn't as good as he's going to be. And some of these kids that played this year might/will get replaced by transfers or other Freshmen.

You never want to lose your QB week 3, and we did. And we couldn't afford to have DL injuries/dismissals, and we did.

See it for what it was, a VERY young team, that lost Hill, Gaines and the last game Ricky Walker. A team that had a transfer take over at QB and had 4 Seniors that played any real snaps. It's amazing we made a bowl game at all!
