he really believes that last season was an anomaly. Ironically I have come to the conclusion that his best assistant may have been the one we lost, Galen Scott. Since Scott left our recruiting has dropped (if you go back to the first full recruiting class a couple of years ago Scott was either the primary recruiter or assisted in recruiting several of our better players). On a number of occasions he accompanied Bud on recruiting visits that proved to be successful. Also, it may be he really helped Bud on the coaching end; after all he was promoted to co-def coordinator for a reason. Hate to say it but our program misses him.
