So why don't teams draft/evaluate accordingly?


If a player won't be "mature" for 4 years, why burn a 1st-round pick?

Really has nothing to do with physical/mental maturity. It's just the NFL using college as their minor-league & talent system.

(and honestly, more power to the NFL -- if they can eliminate the risk of drafting teenagers, why not)
