Wisconsin not being ranked early just shows that they were underrated. It doesn't lessen UVA's win. Nobody thinks Kentucky is a top 2 team, so why should we say Duke beat a top 2 team. Certainly was an impressive win for how they completely dominated, and Kentucky is still a solid team, but early season rankings don't really tell us anything.

Easier to make the comparison with football since it's (basically) over, but remember early in the year when we beat a top 25 FSU team? That was a great win at the time, but as the season progressed it became evident that we did not beat one of the top 25 teams in the country.
