Penn State is the closest big time football program to Richmond, DC Metro, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Long Island, New Jersey, All of New York and New England. BC, Syracuse and Pittsburgh don't count because they are not big time. Geographically the closest Big Time program to PSU is Ohio State. The entire SEC is a long long long way away from Penn State's recruiting area. PSU has it all to be the program.
