lighten up Merc. this coaching staff CJF included is very pro-relationship

attend some Hokie Club or pre-season events, and get to know our coaches and players. read the recruits' comments here and on LunchPail, etc. and see how they give mega-complements to our coaches, family atmosphere, and how their parents and HS coaches feel comfortable with the recruiters/coaches/current players.

we know CC feels there isn't enough transparency (to use the current fad-phrase) at interviews and press conferences, and we wish for more access to practices for our own selfish desires. but just because CJF doesn't get visibly emotional on the sideline, doesn't merit jumping on a 'one-wheeled band wagon' of weak relationships.

there's a lot of stuff (fake news) out there that taken of context and lacking follow-up simple research can be construed to undermine even the best programs, teams, players, and coaches.

(and yes, i know a couple of the current coaches - and previous staff - personally so i'm not talking out of a short vacuum; and not trying to toot my horn.)

you should really make an effort to meet and get to know our coaches; you'll be pleasantly surprised, and rewarded for time invested.
