Did they win? No. Were they close? No


But what if they’d lost to PSU, UCF & ND ALL in close games but then went 9-3 AND beat Clemson. They’d have only lost an October game to unbeaten ND.

I know we’re playing what ifs but think about a team with a schedule like that who gets better and does then run through a conference and wins it. I’d want to seee them in an 8 team playoff
