I'm a JMU alum and live in Harrisonburg. Most JMU fans are fully aware that until JMU takes the financial leap to be an FBS school, they will always be a pit stop for most coaches. However, Mike Houston had just signed a 10 year contract last year. Quoted as saying how much he loves it here and the community and building the program (blah blah blah). Also, JMU has always had a competitive football program for their level.
Houston brought JMU their second national championship. They were a play away from going back to back. They are in the playoffs this year. However, I do feel like something has been off with the team this year, even though it has been a successful year. Everyone saw this coming, just not after his 3rd year and signing a 10 year contract.
