The last game is not a good example

Most students not back, alumni close enough to drive, that didn't have Turkey Day weekend plans, likely attended the big football game on Friday - we are a football first school and it was our rival.

Some made the football game part of their family holiday plans - another sporting event (that was not a good opponent) with either another drive or a hotel stay - not likely with other family commitments that weekend.

Had we played an ACC basketball game, the day after the UVa football game, on a non holiday weekend, when students are in town - very likely good attendance, if not a sellout.
