They’ll care if ticket sales go down next year.
The home schedule next year is pretty awful and the product on the field this year has been awful, especially at home.
The fans make VT, they’re a big reason why the football program has had so much success they’ve helped recruit, they’ve helped the athletic department make money, and they even helped get us into the ACC
There’s going to be a lot of upset fans who won’t be as interested in getting tickets next year if we lose tomorrow. I do think tomorrow will be a game that the fans look back on 2-3 years from now and say: “that win really saved Fuente and the program” or “that loss was the beginning of the end for Fuente and the beginning of a bad turn for the program.” [Post edited by HokieFanAtNCSU at 11/22/2018 10:09PM]
