Wow, you pretty much described my situation

Also have RV at VT airport lot, make 600 mile RT every game and have always bought extra season tickets for family and friends, sine my kids are grown now. It is getting harder this year and I think even die hard fans who dish out thousand's of dollars of year for seats, tickets, parking at VT airport (including the cost to keep It there over the entire season) and the work it takes to get ready for a tailgate ends in a buzz kill after we get beat in our own house. For now, I think Enter Sandman should be shortened, as the singing is almost silly when we end up getting stomped. The fourth quarter "lets go Hokies" doesn't work either since the stadium is usually half empty by then. Honestly, I think we don't win another game this year. I am not a fair weather fan, but I will cut back on the extra season tickets and may become more frugal with my donations next , because, I am dissatisfied with the performance of our team. If we have a down year that is one thing, but this year we are so far off, that it defies explanation. Youth aside, I have heard this excuse almost every year, we still have scholarship players. Maybe it is not right to rail on the kids, but the coaches and Whit need to hear it. Other teams have youth, but they don't get completely blown out by the likes of ODU and Pitt the way we have. this season is over for me, but I will be at game this week, with hopes of a better season next year, but if we have another season like this then maybe it would be time for a big change
