Facilities, donations, getting in the ACC were all excellent. Now that the Vick effect has worn off we are what we are. We are a 32K student enrollment school with a very young football tradition. We have a 67K stadium that never fills all the way up any more. Remember when we used to get the number 1 recruit in the state just about every year? Those guys don't stay in state any more. I also think it is abundantly clear that Frank Beamer was an excellent coach and recruiter-way better than I used to give him credit for. You can fire Fuente, I am neutral on him, but I don't see anyone else coming in here and turning us into an elite program. We are what we are.
