If we have to be dragged thru a down year in order to get to the top then I’m fine with it.

In other words, in 2-3 years from now I’d much rather be saying we are playing for a championship or won a championship than bragging about a 27-28 year bowl streak or a streak over our rivals. Maybe that’s just me but no one remembers the team that always has 10 win seasons. Everyone remembers a champion because they’re cemented in history.

You never hear Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, and many other programs bragging about a streak...probably because they can talk about their championships.

I’d trade this 25 year bowl streak for 1 championship any day...

So how about we back our young team, support our coaches, continue to donate, and keep the faith that this blip will lead us to the promise land.

Who cares about streaks — give me a championship!
