He was good in the 90's at FSU....
Those FSU teams out-talented the ACC by a huge margin. It was mostly a talent thing, not his "great" schemes.
As a head coach, when he called plays at Georgia (2001-2006) and now at Miami, his offenses have been very inconsistent and spotty. His offense works best when he's able to successfully throw downfield. When you take that away from him, like BC did, he can't do anything.
