I think the ending of traditional rivalries is a symptom of.....

the overall influence of money over everything else and ultimately the decline of college football as we have known it. I think it sux. VT should play WVU every year. Likewise, WVU should play Pitt every year. GT should play Auburn every year. Texas should play aTm every year.....etc.....Frankly, I think college football was better in 1988 than it is today.
