Time of possession is a key in these games, with a premium put on Offensive possessions. GT will go for a lot of 4th downs determined by down and distance. The other team must be at least as aggressive offensively to maintain the time of possession. It only takes one 3 and out to turn the game. A team must score often and take care of the ball, and hope they can hold GT to at least 1 and possibly more 3 and outs (or 4 and outs). This game was within our grasps but mistakes happened. Ball security always seems to be either a pro or con that changes these games as well. When we turn it over, we loose, when they turn it over, we win.
