The official ACC site disagrees with you.


To quote the ACC site, "If the ACC Champion is not in the Top 4 [not in the CFP], it will appear in either the Peach or Fiesta Bowl."

The ACC's understanding may be wrong, but I would hope not.

What that says to me is this. The ACC champ will either be in the CFP or in either the Peach or Fiesta.
