running plays and in fact most of the time they are pushed back. Its difficult for the RB's to gain yards when there are defenders in the backfield even before you get the handoff. IMO, this is a reflection on the strength coach, Hilgart or the line coach Vice. However when you are completely unable to punch it in running the ball on the 1 yard line, that almost certainly says its the strength coach. This is something that a Gentry trained line would have been able to do.
