You can win a lot without a traditional big.
Villanova has done that over the last three years at the college level. Golden State, before adding KD and his freaking 6'10" frame, made two NBA finals with Draymond Green (listed at 6'7" so probably actually 6'5") at center and less than 10 mpg from a 7' dude like Andrew Bogut.
To be successful with a lineup like that though, you have to do some things well:
- shoot the ball
- move the ball
- move without the ball
- aggressive team D
- aggressive team rebounding with everyone blocking out a man
I think we do the first 3 of those with varying levels of success but definitely struggle with the last two.
