One of top 20 DT in college football. Some have him as high as top 10. He may not even play in NFL but he is one of the best DT to play at VT. He is not lauded just because he is a leader. But an outstanding player who's has been better than solid the day he stepped on campus. Lauded was Tim Settle whom he matched play for play stst for stat for the 2 years they played together. Second very few DT not Dends have great foot speed. The only quicker DT VT has had were not DT but Dend or Woody Baron etc. And Ricky foot speed may be hampered some this year but that happens when you get a foot sprain in game one and aggravate it in game 2. Anyway Ricky's career speeks for itself. If your going to be a critic at least know what positions guys play. Lol and for record name a VT DT not named Bruce Smith who had an extended great NFL career.
