No, it is just an inane point
First, the balls were 1v1 situations, more accurate throws are potential big gains, that the throw was off is more the issue than them.being bad choices on his part, they weren't. As for the articles, i find most of the "analysis" there to superficial as well. Not a knock on them, it is true of most criticism in sports. They writers typically know much less about what is going on than the players and coaches yet want to call them out for perceived deficiencies.
