that perhaps I am just getting old (and I am...not quite "Old Guard" but I can see it from here...). But I thought also that it was not a "blood in the water" Lane crowd (like my all-time favorite Syracuse 1999 when it was 62-0 and we ALL wanted more....). Anyway, it struck me kinda like Miami 2005. Too much hype, too much "structured" pre-game and not enough "going to take your lunchbox" like the old days.

Of course, older people always remember "the day"...

FTR: I thought the Hokies played with a hell of an effort. A million things went wrong but they aren't nearly as bad as that score makes it look. I think VT is a year away maybe but on the right track.
