I will be making the trip to Blacksburg for the ND game this year. It will be a special weekend for me because I attended both schools (VT from 1998 to 2000 and ND from 2000 to 2002). My last game at Lane Stadium was in 2001, so I haven't even really seen the campus since they completed the addition on to the stadium, re-routed 460, etc. I managed to snag a hotel room for the weekend near downtown Blacksburg, which required a 2-night minimum, so I will be there from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.

My question is - what do people typically do for the weekend if they're staying right next to campus? I can figure out downtown Blacksburg, and I have a few places I want to hit along Main Street, but I'm more interested in whether there are any activities on Friday night or Saturday leading up to the game.
