With the way conferences change and rearrange, this might be the only time Notre Dame comes to Blacksburg. It's historic from VT's perspective.

We have a significant chance of losing to every team remaining on our schedule except ODU, so I'm not worrying about finishing 11-0 and playing Clemson. We can lose to GT, Pitt, etc. but we've lost to those guys before - we'll get another crack next year. By contrast, it's possible that many on this board may not live to see another VT-ND home/away series. Notre Dame is huge regardless of what happens before or after.
