Isn't there a rule on the max number of home games in a season?

I thought I remembered 7 being the max number of home games a team was allowed to play. I had assumed we already had our schedule for next season and had 7 home games (meaning we couldn't switch ECU to a home game. I looked at next years schedule and it looks like we only have 6 home games and 6 away games. The schedule for 2020 and 2021 has 7 home games already scheduled.

If we truly do only have 6 home games and we are allowed to have 7, it makes perfect sense to require ECU to come to B'Burg next year.
