4:30am and ECU is about to look really bad (more)

The latest storm track (obviously changing hourly!) has the storm hitting near NC/SC Coast, lingering, then going wsw toward SC.

I don’t wish ill against ECU, but wow- waiting until noon today, when even this forecast will become more certain, would change everything. We’ve had plenty of hurricanes which did NOT flood Greenville.

If their campus stays relatively “dry”, they’re gonna look realllllly bad. If their team somehow ends up in FL before next Wednesday, I’d expect a full barrage of heckling - if you don’t wanna leave campus before the storm, citing safety upon your return, then don’t leave campus while you can still feel the effects. Yes, I don’t know what they’re going to do travelwise (I have no connections at ECU) but man. They better stay put until next Thursday when NC floodwaters subside and they’re all safe and coaches and players families are not flooded.

I mean, if campus floods, they made the absolute right call. No. Questions. Asked.

If campus doesn’t flood and Bburg doesn’t flood, boooooooo.....

If campus doesn’t flood and their team is in FL early, Booooooooooo......

Only Mother Nature and Father Time know what will happen by next week’s end. But they could have waited 24 hours and made a mutual decision.
