Just bought a house and live near an Amtrak station in NOVA. I see there's Amtrak service from here to Roanoke on Friday evenings and then back on Sunday mornings, which would be perfect and would avoid Friday evening NOVA traffic and the cluster that is I-81.

But does anyone know what options there are (aside from Uber/Lyft) to get from downtown Roanoke to Blacksburg and back on game days? Does VT offer any sort of bus service on game days from downtown Roanoke?

All hypothetical at this point, but just thinking. Thanks!
