...they only want to discuss the 5-10 teams that can make the playoffs. I would think they would carve out time for other teams because if you only focus on 5-10 schools then you are severely limiting the size of the audience that is interested in what you have to say.

I don't know why, but I still watch College Football Final and all it is is Galloway, Palmer and Virk slobbering over how good Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State are, before they reveal their top 4 teams of the week. They will give some time to other blue bloods and SEC teams, but for the most part they only focus on a few teams.
