Annual ACC and Bowl Predictions (2018 Edition)

So it's time for my annual picks for the standings and the bowls for 2018 season. I've gotten some research in and now I have my picks. These don't exactly follow the main stream but instead follow how I think things end up......

Atlantic:
1. Clemson
2. Florida State
3(T). Boston College
3(T). NC State
5(T). Louisville
5(T). Wake Forest
7. Syracuse

Coastal
1. Miami
2. Pittsburgh
3(T). Virginia Tech
3(T). Georgia Tech
5(T): UNC
5(T): Duke
5(T): UVA

Playoffs:
Cotton Bowl: #1 Alabama vs #4 Washington
Orange Bowl: #2 Wisconsin vs #3 Clemson

NY6
Peach Bowl: Notre Dame vs Auburn
Rose Bowl: Ohio State vs Stanford
Sugar Bowl: Georgia vs Oklahoma
Fiesta Bowl: Michigan vs USF

Other ACC Bowls:

Camping World Bowl: Miami vs TCU

Belk Bowl: Florida State vs LSU
Music City Bowl: Virginia Tech vs Missouri
Sun Bowl: Pittsburgh vs Cal
Pinstripe Bowl: NC State vs Purdue

Independence Bowl: Louisville vs Tulane
Military Bowl: Boston College vs Memphis
Quick Lane Bowl: Wake Forest vs Iowa
Birmingham Bowl: UNC vs Mississippi State

Outside of Clemson, I feel like the ACC will be a little bit of a "wheel of destiny" like in the ole days. I still think Miami is a bit better than the rest of the Coastal as well. IMO, ND takes the ACC's spot in the NY6 after Clemson gets into the playoffs. This pushes a very solid Boston College team that roughs its way through a tough schedule into the 2nd tier of bowls. Our fan support, proximity, and lack of appearances in the last 20 years leads us to Nashville to take on Drew Lock and the Missouri Tigers.
