Why? You coach basketball. You should know how a player
impacts a game on both ends of the floor without having to rely on stats as the basis of that opinion. I am not denying that stats have their place. They can be really useful. Heck, Buzz makes them his religion, and it's helped him form his coaching philosophy.
But I don't subscribe to professional level statistics databases, and I'm not even sure they existed when Zabian played.
What I'm really saying is that "stats don't rule the day." I was just being hyperbolic that stats don't matter. But they aren't everything.
