If Bimbo plays today...

He doesn't get an Olympic bid, so let's take that out. The argument isn't Justin Robinson had the best pro career. So let's take a look at their time at VT.

Justin Robinson is 105 assists away from becoming VTs all-time assists leader (currently held by Coles)...might seem like a decent amount if J-Rob didn't have 185 assists last season (Coles highest number in 1 season was 171). So J-Rob would need to regress by 50% in order to NOT break the record. So let's just assume that if he were to do around what he has done the last two seasons he will have the career assists mark and smashed it in the process.

Bimbo a better shooter?

Career FG%

Bimbo - 42.9%
J-Rob - 43.7%

Career 3pt%

Bimbo - 32.4%
J-Rob - 37.4%

Career FT%

Bimbo - 74.8%
J-Rob - 76.2%

We have established J-Rob will likely break the assists mark...maybe he turns the ball over more?

Career turnovers

Bimbo - 345
J-Rob - 221

Still one season left, so J-Rob would need to have 125 turnovers this season to have more than Coles. His highest number of turnovers in a season is 83. Again, would take an abysmal season to not come out ahead of Coles here.

With a lack of advanced statistics available for a defensive argument, it's hard to support an argument there. Though, let's give that one to Coles for the sake of arguing. That's literally the only area where Coles would have the advantage.
