I think it’s got to be so hard to know for sure how good someone is until they go against a good opponent live. The coaches are trying to say something interesting for the fans, instill confidence in the player that is reading this, and praying it all comes true. I don’t think they are intentionally trying to get our hopes up, that would be insane. Gotta be so hard to be s coach
