There is a lot of secrecy with this program and it seems to start with Whit. It was irresponsible of Whit to interfere with the seasons of both teams and send Bud on a clandestine mission to meet with Fu during UVA game week. Bud messed up by not talking X's and O's with Fu during their meeting since Bud could have figured out if Fu's O would be effective. I'm mad that Bud was never given an interview. Bud could have hired a great offensive mind and his D would still be here. I find it laughable that the article highlights the 63 points that Memphis put up against SMU, a team that finished with a 2-10 record. I don't know why an AAC coach would be hired since even Beamer's offenses looked good against AAC teams. I'm still not a believer in the Fu offense but good recruiting remedies poor playcalling.
