More out of necessity I think...


A 260 pound player can be a very impactful defensive tackle in our system. It's all about pressure and gap control. If you can use quickness to shoot your gap and wreck havoc in front of the quarterback, it really doesn't matter how much you weigh you'll be an effective player.

I'd like to see DeBose stick at DE too but we have other talented freshmen there. If he can work at both spots and become a Corey Marshall type of player than that makes him incredibly valuable. It's an option and we really don't have that many options at DT.
