I never claimed that colleges were forced into slavery or indentured servitude as some ridiculously claim the athletes are. I never claimed the colleges were being treated in an unfair way. They're not. I never said any of it is unfair. I am simply stating that when people say that the athletes are exploited, well, they are exploiting the universities too. When both sides feel the value of the exploiting is optimal, that's a mutually agreeable transaction that both parties enter into voluntarily. And that's how it should be, it's the practical, legal, and philosophical concept behind enlightenment era free will and the Adam Smith concept of capitalism.
