Its a sad testament to the terrible background some of these kids have
had to deal with their entire lives and the system that they are "forced" into so that they might get out. A college football player is a commodity, thats it. Most of these kids will take a beating for 4+ years, get a degree (if they make it through) that doesn't mean much (because they aren't able to take regular classes in a lot of cases), and then get thrown back onto the streets.
