- HBs won national mascot championships...became pro mascots. Then something changed. They don't walk and move with the same energy as we did. If you're old enough, you remember the Bird pumping up the chest, and the walk was so animated, the waddle would sometimes move back and forth. Sometimes we'd try and get the crowd into it, with cheerleaders, or via a skit, or kicking field goals, etc.
- I haven't seen a good skit in a long time...but maybe I've stopped looking for them?
