I agree with @Zanderhokie


My take is that Seth would have found some reason to sit Steph on the bench, or otherwise piss him off, and that he would not have been the star at VT that he was at Davidson.

Davidson handed him the ball and said, "Go for it," Bimbo Coles-style, and it worked out well for them and Steph. Seth would not have done that.
