Most of the time, a person who thinks that all of their superiors - at work, in school, in sports, etc. - are cheating or otherwise have some unfair advantage is usually just trying to avoid accepting ones own fault in the matter. Its a defense mechanism to mask negative feelings about oneself. But even if that's not true, it defies common sense that basically all of the schools that experience regular success only do so because they cheat or sell their souls or whatever it is you are complaining about. As Chris has written very recently, many of those "elite" schools have inherent advantages that have nothing to do with rule bending or warped values.

So, maybe its just easier on the brain to wave a hand and say things like "they all cheat" but you should at least be aware of the fact that such comments aren't really discriminating enough to describe reality on the ground.
