... have attended just about every Penn State football game the last two years and been to Lane Stadium at least three times in the same time span

I also attended both spring games this year one week apart

my experience is that Penn State has more fans of course, but Virginia tech has a more excited fan base at times in game. Also, Lane Stadium can be louder than beaver Stadium mainly because of the way the stadium is built , especially during the run out.

Honestly I don't think Penn State holds ian advantage over recruits during in game stadium experience

the advantage would be in overall facilities and energy that they invest outside of game day
