You had a pedophile, and some people in denial about it. You had some people afraid of speaking out. You had people looking out for themselves rather than victims. People passed the buck. That's not a Penn State thing. That's a human thing.

Its like asserting there's something inherently wrong with VT because we had 32 people murdered on our campus. We didn't warn the student body soon enough. We didn't have the proper security measure in place to deal with that kind of situation. Is that a VT problem or a human problem that manifested on our campus?

Hint: A sick pervert and a sick murderer caused both of these tragedies.
