Brown was a rare stat in the lean years for Techs OL

There have been lots of guys whose careers took a big turn once they arrived in college. TSL listed him as a jumbo athlete that could play OL, TE or DL

As it would happen, the top OL in the 2003 class (Tripp Carroll) never made it on to the football field. After a year at TE for Brown, he was given a chance to fill an open spot at Tackle. The rest is history.
