Only the RV parking between the golf course and the Inn at VT is controlled by the AD's office. Those sites are 1st come, 1st parked and are available on a game by game basis, with cash payable when you go in.

The airport is not owned by VT. It was spun off years ago, and a separate governmental or quasi governmental entity, Va Tech Montgomery Regional Airport Authority which is controlled by members appointed by VT and by Montgomery Co.

The Airport has not let us know what they are charging this year. Nor has anyone, including the airport or VT's Athletic Administration determined how the folks who park at the airport lot are going to get to the game. What was about a 0.7 mile walk in a straight line, albeit up and down hills, has turned into in excess of 2 mile walk due to the cutting of Tech Center Drive in order to extend the airport's runway. The new route is like going from your thumb to your little finger via your elbow.
