I think the Packers can hold out another year or two

Before drafting someone they believe they can groom to take over for Rodgers. But Rudolph would have been great to take so late in the draft (he's first-round capable and was IMO the best QB in the draft). But maybe the Packers weren't as high on him.

But Rodgers (and QBs in general) wasn't exactly in the Packers plan either.... until he fell that far.
