Yes .... white kids in "athletic" positions start with one strike


I worked for a major scouting company for a number of years and wrote bios for athletes. If you told the analyst his coach described a kid as fundamentally sound and hard working, the analyst immediately joked the athlete must be white with a lower ceiling/rating.
