Listened to Andy's podcast and he talks about the vitriol some fans have
toward Josh Jackson. I think this is a totally unfair remark. I'm not sure if anyone has any true vitriol for Jackson. He seems like a nice kid, and I hated it when JJ got negative twitter remarks after his bowl game loss. I think for alot of fans, including myself, we expected alot of changes from the offense when Fuente was hired. We got spoiled for the year Jerod Evans was with us and hoped for better things.
I think where alot of fans get frustrated is that the last half of JJ's 1st year reminded us a helluva lot of Beamer's ineffectual offense for the past decade. No one wants to go back to that, and he seemed to emulate the offensive production of the last few QB's under Beamer. No one is saying JJ can't improve and he may. Just saying we need better performances than we got at the end of last season, or there is no point to having hired Fuente.
