Meanwhile, OSU seemed to have led Ford to believe that he's their top RB target now that they already have one other RB commitment. Then they took a commitment from Chambers (who is technically an "athlete" but is almost certainly going to turn up at RB).

The backfield at OSU was already somewhat crowded. Now it's even more crowded. PSU's isn't as crowded, but does have Ricky Slade a year ahead of him. VT's backfield is essentially ripe for him to step in and contribute right away (at the very least, I would guess he would have a workload similar to Holston in his first year).

FWIW: Holston had 70 carries.
