Not buying it
JC Coleman was a 4-star back. Marshawn Williams and Shai McKenzie should have been great. DeShawen McClease was as good a high school back as Coleman, very similar players.
These kids aren't David Wilson good, but they match up skill wise to plenty of the other backs that Tech has had the past 25 years.
The problem is not RB talent, but that opposing defenses know that if you stop Tech on the ground, they can't beat you through the air.
Fuente has the offense moving in the right direction. As the WRs and QB get better and skilled in Fuente's offense, running lanes will be opened up for Tech's running backs.
