I take great pride in name dropping, which my dad taught me to make sure that I did as I go through life. In fact, I met Jessica Lange one year on the sidewalk near the hospital. I yelled "Go Tootsie!" but she just ignored me. At least I thought she did. But just to make sure, I followed her to a restaurant. From there, I watched as she met some man. They both had drinks while I walked casually back and forth in front of the window facing the street. I tried to act like I was lost but one time Jessica and I made eye contact. To tell you the truth, I did feel a little lost as I kept this up for 45 minutes or so and at some point I forgot which way was what. But when she saw me, I started sweating and decided to leave. Luckily I chose the right direction an went back to my bike.

Anyways, back to my story. I am proud to be a name dropper and now I can say that UVA has the most embarrassing regular season lost in basketball, and also the worst in the tournament. I will have to do some research to see if we can claim the worst pre-season lost in college basketball, but that will have to wait for another day. If we can, we have the trifecta which I suspect is really hard to pull off. I might get a t-shirt made which says "ThreePete!" (in recognition of Pete Gillen, who may be where I start looking at preseason wins and losses), if we do. I'll send one to Tootsie too if I do. She'll never know who sent it!
